RESPITE CARE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM AVAILABLE TO CAREGIVERS

If you are a caregiver, or know of a caregiver who is need of assistance or relief, please look into our Respite Scholarship Program.  Many caregivers have found just that little bit of help they were needing to be able to go shopping, go to a grandchild's wedding, or even somthing as simple as working in the garden.  On the right side of the screen, click on Programs/Services then on Caregiver Support to find more information out this program.

KANSAS OPTIMIZING HEALTH PROGRAM (KOHP)

KOHP is a highly interactive program where people of various shronic conditions come together to learn and practice new skills over a six-week period to manage their chronic condition.  Participants meet once a week for 2 1/2 hours to discuss and problem solve a variety of topics relevant to coping with chronic conditions.

For Butler County, this program starts June 14 at the Rose Hill Senior Center.  The program will be from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. every Tuesday for six weeks.  Contact Pat Houchin in our office (click on contact information on left-hand side) for more information or to enroll in this program.
