Prevention of Elder Abuse, Neglect, & Exploitation Seminar
The Prevention of Elder Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation (PEANE) Seminar will be held on March 14, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Butler Community College’s Welcome Center in El Dorado. The address for this location is 901 S. Haverhill Road.
Who should attend? This training is appropriate for caregivers, in-home elder care specialists, adult protective service workers, nursing home and senior center personnel, law enforcement, prosecutors, administrators, human resource specialists, supervisory personnel, board members and seniors.
Cost of attending the conference is $20. This covers the cost of handouts, refreshments, and lunch. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance that can be used for documentation of professional continuing education credit.
